Nathan Lockett began as the Assistant Director for K-12 Outreach at Cornell's Public Service Center in Janurary of 2011.
Prior to coming to Cornell, he taught economics and business law at Ithaca High School land help found the school's credit recovery program.
Nathan received his B.A. form Geneseo in 2008 and finished his M.S. in Curriculum Development at University Albany in Fall 2012.
Nathan's goal is to help Cornell students understand to how to use their skills to collaborate with community members to help solve some of Ithaca's most pressing education needs.
The mission of Cornell K-12 Outreach is to engage Cornell students in a collaborative partnership with staff, faculty and the local education community to enhance the quality of education available to students in and around Ithaca. At the Public Service Center, our 300+ students are engaged in service-learning and community-based research to promote leadership development and social justice.
